New Mexico in April with Left Coast Crime

Welcome to the Spring convention season! At last authors and readers everywhere will meet in real live 3-D for the first time in 2 years. You can see me, and I hope to see you, at Left Coast Crime 2022 in Albuquerque, NM, April 7-10.

I’m thrilled to be on Friday AM’s 11:30 panel Multimedia Murder — Escape from the Page. Authors Dale Berry, David Boop, Shaun Harris, moderator T.E. (Thena) MacArthur, and I will talk about crime fiction that involves all the senses. Every fan of ebooks, audiobooks, or graphic novels knows that words on a page are just one way to share a story with 21st-century explorers. More options appear in both the print and e-versions of my Cory Goodwin mystery Another Number for the Road and my multimedia memoir Edward Gorey On Stage, featured elsewhere on this website. I’m currently working on a sequel to each.

And at 9 AM Thursday, April 7, I’ll zip from table to table at Author Speed-Dating — rumored to be an excellent source of hot tips on new books and free swag. I’ll talk about my new Edgar Rowdey Cape Cod mystery Shafted, or The Toastrack Enigma . . . hoping the Hyatt Regency provides toast.
