Unbelievably, 2025 marks a quarter century since my comrade-in-arts Edward Gorey departed his inquisitive, multifaceted life. We were Cape Cod neighbors and friends for more than a decade, as well as artistic co-conspirators, Golden Age mystery fans, lovers of animals, topiary, and classical music. I still miss him . . . but since he'd have turned 100 in February, 2025 is a Centennial year to celebrate!
